Rebecca Zemmelman is an experienced attorney and Partner at The Family Law and Fertility Law Group where she focuses on family law, adoption law, and mediation. Throughout her years of practice, Rebecca has helped countless families navigate complex legal issues and find peaceful resolutions to difficult situations.
Rebecca approaches her cases with a compassionate and empathetic approach backed by an extensive knowledge of the law. She has successfully represented clients in a wide range of cases, from high-conflict divorces to complex interstate adoptions. Whenever possible, Rebecca works to reduce conflict in family law cases through the use of alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and Collaborative divorce.
In addition, Rebecca is a dedicated Guardian Ad Litem where she represents the best interests of children whose families are involved in legal proceedings. She investigates their circumstances and makes recommendations to the Court based on her findings.

Rebecca’s dedication to leadership has also earned her recognition as a member of the 2023 class of the Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers (CALL). She has previously been involved in the Young Lawyers Section of the Cincinnati Bar Association, and the Juvenile Court Subcommittee, the Cincinnati Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society and served as a Fellow at the Ohio Innocence Project. Rebecca also worked as a Law Clerk at both the Hamilton County Court of Domestic Relations and the Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati.
Community Involvement
Through her involvement in various organizations throughout the Cincinnati area, Rebecca has demonstrated her commitment to making a positive impact on her community and the legal profession as a whole. She was the former Co-Chair and current Executive Committee Member of the Cincinnati Academy of Collaborative Professionals, “CACP” and is the Co-Chair of the Women in Law Alumni Group at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Rebecca sat on the Guardian Ad Litem subcommittee through the Hamilton County Domestic Relations Bench Bar Committee and a former board member of the Juvenile Law Committee through the Cincinnati Bar Association. Rebecca is also on the Executive Committee of the Jewish Community Relations Council “JCRC” in Cincinnati and is involved in the Cincinnati chapter of the Miami University Alumni Association.
