When Rebecca first took over my case, I was coming from a situation where I had very little confidence in the legal process. She helped me obtain a significantly better shared parenting arrangement that gave me much more meaningful time and involvement with my son. Then, within roughly the next year, I was taken back to court when I planned to move. My son’s mother was seeking to regain custody, and the case ultimately went all the way through a full trial. That was probably the most stressful part of the entire experience for me, but Rebecca was outstanding. She was incredibly thorough, prepared, methodical, and effective in the courtroom. By the end of the trial, the case was dismissed, and I was able to keep the custody arrangement and move forward with my family as planned.

What always stood out to me about Rebecca was her preparation. She knew the details of my case, thought ahead, and always seemed to be several steps ahead in the courtroom. I never felt like I had an attorney who was simply showing up and hoping things went well. She had a strategy, understood the issues, and was prepared to execute it.

Just as importantly, Rebecca understood how emotionally difficult family court can be. I dealt with a great deal of stress and anxiety throughout those years, and she was able to deal with that while still keeping me focused on what actually mattered. I also had the unique experience of hiring Rebecca relatively early in her career and then watching her grow as an attorney over the years she represented me.
